Kirk M. Acevedo is an actor of American nationality who has been known for his work on television for the series Oz, Band of Brothers as well as Fringe. He was born on the 27th of November, 1971 and has been actively involved in the acting fraternity since 1996 according to his bio. He acted since a very small age and has been fairly successful at it as he has acc u mulated a huge number of fans from all around the world.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Kirk was enrolled in the LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts from where he majored in drama. He was also enrolled in the SUNY Purchase School of Acting from where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He started his career after he found the role of the half-crazed leader and prisoner named Miguel Alvarez in the HBO series Oz, which made him highly popular.
He was made the series regular in the second season and was critically talked about for his performance. He then got the role of a major actor in the shows like Law and Order as Hector Salazar as well as Joseph Toye in Band of Brothers. These roles too were highly appreciated and he landed a guest starring roles in television series like 24 and NYPD Blue. He has also done roles in miniseries like Boiler Room, The Thin Red Line, Dinner Rush, Invincible etc. he is known to have landed the supporting role of Charlie Francis in the science-fiction horror series Fringe. He most recently portrayed the role of Luisito Calderon in the U.S remake of Prime Suspect and also stars in the television series 12 Monkeys currently.
Kirk is a married man and he has been married to the love of his life since 2005. He is extremely devoted to his wife and their two children and has not been known to have dated anybody outside his marriage to his spouse. His wife is none other than the beautiful Kiersten Warren, who herself is an actress. They met, started dating and their affair turned into marriage on 2005 and they have been together ever since. They are parents to a child named Scarlett James Acevedo together and he is the father of stepdaughter Misti Traya from Kiersten’s previous marriage. Misti is an actress too. Apart from this, he has not been known to have been surrounded by rumors of dating anybody else and seems to be extremely devoted to his wife and children.
