Synopsis

Kate Mansi, an American actress, is best known for her portrayal as Abigail Deveraux on Days of Our Lives. She was honored with an Emmy Award for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series in 2017. 

Mansi has appeared in popular films and TV series including Unwanted Guest, Small shots and How I Met Your Mother. She will appear in the thriller film Mother of All Secrets. She is working on her another project, Bottle Girl which will release at the end of 2018. 

Early Life and Education

Kate Mansi was born to Jeff Morris (father) and Victoria Morris (mother) on 15 September 1987 in Calabasas, California, US. Her mother was an accomplished dancer in Southern California.

Mansi has a named sister Alexa and five step-siblings. She is American by nationality and is of mix ethnic group (Irish and Italian descents). 

Mansi grew up in Southern California. She studied the film and public relations at Pepperdine University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Career

Kate Mansi was interested in dance from an early age. Her mother who herself is a dancer enrolled her in dance cla s ses.

Mansi joined the Pacific Festival Ballet at the age of 15 and performed in the shows like 'Nutcracker', 'Bambi', 'Peter Pan', and 'Heaven and Hell'.

Kate Mansi competed in the National Womack Speech Competition during her college days and won the second prize. She also appeared in various commercial advertisements at the time. She played a guest role as Amanda on the fourth season of CBS hit show 'How I Met Your Mother,' in 2008.

In fall of 2010, Mansi landed a recurring role as Abigail Deveraux in the daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" (DOOL). She appeared in a show until 2016. The series has released 13,280 episodes as of February 2018.

In 2016, Mansi appeared in a television film, "Unwanted Guest."  She portrayed Amy Thomas in the movie. She was cast alongside Beth Littleford, Ted King, and Valentina Novakovic, among others.

In 2017, Kate Mansi made a guest appearance in an episode of opera show Small Shots.

Mansi will appear in a mainstream role in a thriller film "Mother of All Secrets." The movie was shot in January/February 2017 and was the first movie to be shot on the island in over twenty-five years.

Mansi will also be portraying Zoe in her upcoming movie, Bottle Girl. The movie will be released at the end of 2018. Mansi recently wrapped two movies Un-Wanted Guest and My Mother’s Secret with Kelly Mother’s Secret with Kelly McGillis.

In 2013, philanthropist Kate Mansi launched a campaign to raise $20,000 for Charity: water, "giving up" her birthday to raise awareness for the cause of clean water. 

On 30 December 2013, she announced through her Twitter account, that she succeeded in raising the full amount.  

In 2017, she participated in the Be Bold Be Bald campaign to raise funds for the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center to raise awareness in the fight against cancer. 

In 2014, she received a pre-nomination in the 41st Daytime Emmy Awards for her role of Abigail in a TV series Days of Our Lives.

In 2017, she won the Daytime Emmy Award for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in Drama Series category from the Days of Our Lives. 

Personal Life

Mansi Mansi is unmarried and has no children. She is not dating anyone publicly. She was once rumored to be in a relationship with her Days of Our Lives co-star Casey Deidrick.

Kate Mansi currently resides in Silverlake and enjoys a healthy lifestyle with her dog, Leigh May. She shares his pictures via Instagram.
