John Hill was born on August 22, 1988, in Washington, D.C., US. He belongs to the White-American ethnicity holding an American nationality.
His father was an army due to which he changed his schools and traveled around a lot. At the age of 13, he along with his family shifted to Florida. Since his early days, he was interested in music and began playing drum since the age of 12.
Career
Jon Hill began his career as a drummer. Initially, he played guitar but later realized that he was more interested in beating drums than playing guitars. He received his first guitar on his 12th birthday. He got a drum set on his 13th birth anniversary.
As a teenager, Hill began playing rock shows for many bands. He struggled as an electrician and a bartender during his early days.

The duo met during their teenage days and eventually fell in love. The couple has kept two dogs namely Shih Tzus Georgie and Frankie.
