John William Muller is an American television journalist. He is popular for being an anchor of World News Now. Muller was born on July 7, 1966, in Queens, New York City, New York, United States of America. He is a white American.
Early life and Education
Muller spent his childhood on Long Island with his family with his seven siblings. Muller majored in journalism and Ma s s communication from ‘New York University’. He was a honor student there.
Professional Career
John Muller began his television career at WTOC-TV, the CBS affiliate channel in Savannah, Georgia. Immediately he became a reporter on troop mobilization from Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Myers, Florida during the period of Persian Gulf War and Panama raids.
After two years in WTOC-TV, he moved to WBBH-TV which is the NBC affiliate in Florida. He won the ''Best Individual Achievement Award' from Associated Press for his all-round excellence in Florida when he was with WBBH-TV.
His next network was the WFLA-TV, NBC affilate for Tampa. Florida. He spent 3 years with the network hosting the highest rated local news show , 11 P.M news. Muller won Associated Press's 'Best News Reporting' with WFLA-TV.
Miller joined the WPIX/Channel .11 network in 1999. He started out as a field reporter and was upgraded to Morning News' anchor in 2000. That was the year when the show was launched. He left WPIX for ABC in 2011.
He left ABC again joined WPIX from July 23 2014. While at ABC he hosted World News Now and ABC News Now while also filling in for many other shows like 'Good Moning America''.
Joohn Muller is now back as the host of 'PIX11 Morning news' which was called 'The WB11 Morning News' when it started in 2000 with him as the original host. The show has now won an Emmy Award.
Personal life and Affair
Muller is in a relationship with Ernabel Demillo who is also a fellow journalist. They have a daughter together . Their daughter, Alexa, was born on May 7, 2004.
Muller is very active on all social networking platforms and he never misses an opportunity interact with the public. He posts his opinions and shares latest news on Facebook and twitter.
He loves to play golf and tennis in his free time.
