Jackie Ibanez is an American Journalist who was born in Logan, Utah, where she spent most of her childhood days. She is of American nationality. Jackie was always interested in taking up journalism as her career. She shared her thoughts with her parent who agreed to help her and always supported her.
Early Life and Education
Ibanez went on to attend Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut for her education. She graduated from there in 2007 with a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism. While still in college, she took an internship at NBC Sports, based in New York City. From 2006-2007 she became the student correspondent for MSNBC News.
Ibanez stepped into the world of journaling right after her graduation in 2007. She had worked extremely well as a student correspondent, which helped her build her CV and hone her talents. Her professional journey started from WWLP-TV, based in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Ibanez first started out as a producer for WWLP-TV. She was in no time promoted to reporter. Within the next 4 months, she stood out as an anchor. She worked diligently and went on to garner a lot of respect from her audience and fellow associates. However, she decided to leave broadcast journalism in 2010.
Her interest slowly drifted away and she thus joined a public relations firm Coltrin & Associates located in New York City, in the same year. She worked as a managing director while in Coltrin & Associates.
After merely working for 2 years, Ibanez decided that she wanted to return back to her beloved roots of journalism. She was always driven by television and this time wanted to lay a hand on news anchoring.
Fortunately, Ibanez went on to become a news anchor for News 12 Connecticut. She showed excellence in all the three live morning broadcasts that she did for News 12. She went on to work for News 12 until December 2014.
Ibanez got accepted as an overnight breaking news anchor for Fox News Channel. Ibanez is currently associated with one of the most renowned Channels, Fox News Channel. Her work has been hugely appreciated by her audience and also her fellow colleagues.
