It has been nearly a year that actress Ricki Lake has lost her soulmate, former husband Christian Evans who died in February 2017. The couple divorced in 2015, however, they reunited again privately.

Is Ricki Lake Dating after Her Husband Christian Evans' Death?
Currently, American actress and television personality Ricki Lake is not dating officially. We can a s sume that Lake is possibly single as she hasn't been romantically linked to anyone after her late former husband Christian Evans.
The 49-year-old actress, however, was married twice. Lake and her first husband illustrator Rob Sussman first met at a Halloween party in October 1993 and after dating for six months, they tied the knot on March 26, 1994. The wedding ceremony was held in Las Vegas.
The couple welcomed their first son, Milo Sebastian Sussman on 22 March 1997. Their second son Owen Tyler Sussman was born on 18 June 2001. After about a decade of being married, they called it quits and filed for divorce in August 2003. Eventually, the divorce was finalized in February 2005.
After her divorce with Sussman, she started dating jewelry designer Christian Evans in 2010. They were first introduced by Lake's best friend. Lake and Evans got engaged in August 2011.

The couple tied the knot on April 8, 2012. Evans shared a son Taylor Evans with his former wife Deanna Alexander. Their married life didn't last for more than two years as the couple decided to call it quits due to Evans' manic episodes. Even's therapist also advise Lake to cut off contact with him and give him space to stabilize.
Lake filed divorce against husband Evans in October 2014 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, however, two months later the couple kept the divorce process on hold as they reunited. Later, their divorce was finalized in 2015.
Despite being divorced, Lake and Evan again reunited privately. She said:
He wasn’t stable, and he was so fragile. But I was still in love with him, so there was something romantic about it. I wanted to save him.

Ricki Lake Described Christian Evans As Her Soulmate
Soon after the death of her ex-husband, the actress shared an emotional message mentioning her former husband as her “soulmate” and revealed he was suffering from bipolar disorder via her Instagram post on 15 January 2017.
"It is with a heavy heart that I share that my beloved soulmate, Christian Evans has pa s sed. The world didn’t understand this man, but I did. He succ u mbed to his lifelong struggle with bipolar disorder. For anyone who has ever lost a family member or friend to mental illness, my heart goes out to you."
She added:
"I am a greater person for having known him and spent the past 6 and a half years of my life with him. He was a man of love and what mends my broken heart today is knowing that he is finally at peace and his spirit is free. Rest in peace, my love"
Recalling the final visit to Evans, Lake said:
I didn’t know it was the last time. I didn’t know it was goodbye,
Evans final text to her was on 8th February 2017 where he wrote:
Thank you for making time for me, being around your spirit is the first time my soul had been at ease and felt calm in a very long time and last night was sacred healing for my heart. I cherish every moment. Good night, I love you angel,
It was Evans’ sister who got his suicide note via email and after two days he was spotted in his car with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Looks like Lake hasn't been over with the loss of her husband. In an interview in last October, Lake revealed that the past seven months were her 'darkest days' and she is still wearing her wedding ring.
