1D star Harry Styles and his family are mourning the death of his stepfather Robin Twist, who pa s sed away on June 22. Robin died due to cancer at the age of 57. Everyone, from Harry's former bandmates to his fans have come out in support.
Harry’s band mates from 1D, which is on hiatus as a group, used social media to express their condolences on the sad account of Styles' father's death.
Styles who acted as the best man at Twist’s wedding to his mother, Anne Cox in 2013 has yet to come out and say anything; he is obviously still mourning with the family who released a statement saying:
"Harry's stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly pa s sed away this week after a long battle with cancer. The family asks for privacy at this time.''
Twist and Style’s mother started dating when Harry was a teenager, and he helped raise to Harry and his sister Gemma, BBC reported. #RipRobin has been trending on Twitter and Styles fans have been sending out tweets comforting Harry and the family.

After the news of Robin’s death broke, Harry’s bandmates Liam Payne Instgramed a photo of Twist and Style’s mom on Instagram on Thursday 22 June with a caption that read:
''Harry my heart really goes out to you such an extremely sad day for us all who knew Robin, What a kind, gentle and beautiful soul, a true rarity to find in today's world. Sometimes they really do take the best of us far too soon. X.''
Harry’s another 1D mate Niall Horan posted the same photo on his own Instagram page writing:
''Very sad to hear about the loss of Robin, For those who had the pleasure of knowing Robin will know that he was the nicest, kindest, most generous, hilariously funny guy you'll have met. Love ya H. Please give your mom and the rest of the family a ma s sive hug from my family.''
The another 1D member, Louis Tomlinson, who also lost his mother Johannah Deakin due to cancer on last December, wrote on his Twitter,
