American professional golfer Gerina Piller currently plays in the LPGA Tour and has embedded into her exceptional golfing statistics into her name. Early Life And Childhood Of Gerina Piller 

Gerina Piller was born Gerina Michelle Mendoza Piller on 29th March 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico, US. She was raised up in her hometown Roswell, New Mexico along with his our siblings, one sister and three brothers. He is the son of Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson

Piller started playing golf at the young age of 15 with the help of her parents and attended and attended Goddard High School. She won the New Mexico state golf championship in 2003 and also played volleyball for her state. Gerina graduated from the University of Texas-El Paso in 2007. While in the UTEP, she won four tournaments as a senior and also won the 2007 Conference USA Individual champion, Player of the Year and the UTEP Female Athlete of the Year.

She belongs to American nationality and ethnicity wise, she is from a mixed ethnical background as she is of Mexican American descent. 

Gerina Piller's Professional Career 

Gerina Piller went professional post graduation on September of 2007.  In 2008, she played on the Futures Tour and attempted again, unsuccessfully to qualify for the LPGA Tour that fall.

On 2009, Gerina attempted again for the LPGA Tour but failed that fall as well. However, having finished in the 30th position, she earned Priority List Category 16 for the 2010 LPGA season. She continued playing for the Duramed Futures Tour with a record of seven top-10 finishes and a career-best tie for second at the iMPACT Cla s sic. She finished second, also for the US Championship.  The same year she was also a contestant on the Golf Channel's Big Break: Prince Edward Island series.

As of 2010, Gerina finished 5th on the Futures Tour money list and thus earned her full playing privileges on the LPGA Tour for 2011. She finished tied for 29th position at the RR Donnelley LPGA Founders Cup in 2011.

Gerina finished in the 68th position on the LPGA official money list in 2012 and was then allowed to play for the LPGA in that year. She attended 23 events in 2012 out of which 17 cuts were made and she was placed in the 48th position of the year-end LPGA official money list with 258,395 dollars. That year, she bagged two top ten finishes, T6 at the Wegmans LPGA Championship and the T9 at the Kingsmill Championship.

Gerina competed in her first US Solheim Cup in 2013 and posted a 0-2-1 record. She attended 26 events and made 23 cuts and at the end of the year, was placed on the 26th position of the LPGA official money list with 572,690 dollars. This year proved to be very good for this talented golfer as she obtained 8 top ten finishes including a career-best runner-up at the CME Group Titleholders. She also recorded a career-low 62 in the third round of the Manulife Financial LPGA Cla s sic and finished seventh on Tour in driving distance 266.5. She finished ninth on top-10 finishes with 8 top-10s and eight in birdies with 326 birdies in the entire season.

Gerina’s husband himself is an American professional golfer who currently plays for the Nation Wide Tour and earned his PGA Tour card for 2011 too. They do not have any children and live in Plano, Texas.
