Debra Gale Marshall is an American actress and former professional wrestling manager and WWE Diva. She is best known by her ring name, Debra. She obtained recognition for her appearance with the World Wrestling Federation between 1998 and 2002.

During her career with WWE, she has managed numerous popular wrestlers including Chyna, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Greene, Dwayne Johnson, Ric Flair, and Goldberg. She is also a winner of the WWE Women’s Championship Award. In 2018, she enacted the fantasy movie Gathering of Heroes: Legend of the Seven Swords.

Early Life And Education of Debra Marshall

Debra Gale Marshall was born on March 2, 1960, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, United States of America. She spent her childhood in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She belongs to American nationality and her ethnicity is White-American.

After completing high school, she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York City.  She completed her education at Alabama University. 

Debra Marshall's Career

Debra Marshall started her professional wrestling career in WCB in late 1995. She made some guest appearances as an audience plant and as part of a group of valets in early 1996. After that, she made her appearance as a valet for her husband, who is a professional football player and WCB announcer Steve McMichael.

Debra Marshall has also appeared in the role of a beauty pageant queen character based on her real-life participation in beauty pageants.

She was a very instrumental part of Jeff Jarrett in February of 1999. She was honored with the WWF Women’s Championship from Sable, in an Evening Gown match, on May 10, 1999. 

Debra Marshall is also the winner of the PWI Woman of the Year Award (1999) and PWI Manager of the Year Award (1999) voted by wrestling fans.

Again, Debra Marshall appeared in April 2000 acting as a guest ring announcer at Backlash. She played the character of Lieutenant Commissioner, the subordinate of Commissioner Mick Foley at the end of 2000.

On March 10, 2002, Debra Marshall was a part of The Weakest Link alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin, Terri Runnels, Jerry Lawler, and Edge.  In addition, Debra Marshall also appeared in the 2010 film ‘Gathering of Heroes’ alongside Christopher Atkins and Kirk Montgomery. In 2018, she enacted the fantasy movie Gathering of Heroes: Legend of the Seven Swords.

Debra Marshall is not dating anyone (publicly). She is a former wife of wrestlers Steve Austin Cold and NFL player Steve McMichael. First, she was married to National Football League alumnus and professional wrestler Steve McMichael, on 26 February 1985.

However, they got divorced after thirteen years of marriage. She has no children of her own but has stepdaughters named Stephanie and Ca s sid.

After that, she began an affair with her new boyfriend wrestling superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin. Debra Marshall and Steve Austin were married in September 2000 at the Little White Wedding Chapel, Las Vegas. However, the couple divorced only after two years in 2002.

She had a gag order from discussing him abusing her. On June 15, 2002, police arrived at their home in the San Antonio, finding her ‘hysterical’ and bruised.

After that, Steve Austin was arrested and charged with domestic violence on August 14, 2002. He gave a $1,000 fine and 80 hours of community service. After her divorce from Stone Cold, she has not dated any guy publicly.
