She and her elder brother Jonah (who is a big Internet Entrepreneur) were raised at their place in Oakland, California, United States of America. After moving to New York, she attended the Barnard College in 1996. With a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, she graduated in the year 2000 alongside her classmate actor Andy Samberg, Peretti is an American citizen born and bred; although her parents had mixed backgrounds. But not all the success came to her so early. She had her struggling days in New York when she even worked as a waitress to feed herself. During such time, she got involved with a tour group named Variety SHAC; with performers like Heather Lawless and Shonali Bhowmik. She got involved with the group in 2004 and started making short movies for a year or so. Then she travelled back to Los Angeles, and soon was seen on TV, appearing in shows like TruTV Presents: World's Dumbest, Tosh .0, The Sarah Silverman Program and Louie and gained a massive popularity in her home town. She made it into the "Ten Comics to Watch in 2010" episode of Variety magazine. Apart from magazines and TV shows, Chelsea has also appeared on live shows The Lavender Hour, The Bone Zone with Brendon Walsh, Doug Loves Movies, How Did This Get Made?, The Todd Glass Show, Comedy Bang Bang and You Made It Weird with Pete Holmes. With so much experience and knowledge about running a podcast show, she came up with one herself named the Call Chelsea Peretti, which she launched in the October of 2012. Then in 2013, she made her first TV appearance in FOX TV’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, where she played the role of Gina Linetti. She was also seen playing different roles in Kroll Show.
Regarding her personal life, she has been with her long friends and actor Jordan Peele. The couple who started dating back in 2013 is still together and no signs of any bump are seen in their smooth relationship. There is not much regarding her past affairs and relationships, and with an estimated net worth of about 5 million US dollars, she has a wide fan following on social media sites.
