Harold William Tatum Jr., popularly known as Bill Tatum is a very good-looking actor and a reputed personality. He is widely known for his performances in As the World Turns, The Office Party, and Law & Order.

Early Life

Tatum was born on May 6, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. He is American by nationality and belongs to the white ethnicity. He is the son of Harold William (his father) and Helen Gertrude (Payne) Tatum (his mother). His father, Harold is a salesman whereas his mother Helen is a housewife.

Career

Tatum started his career working at Equity Library Theater. He has done several shows including two plays and one musical per year. It was a wonderful showcase for young and rising actors and a great chance to do some great things.

Tatum had a lead role in the popular television series, As the World Turns in 1956. This long-running series focuses on the relationships and difficulties of its inhabitants. The series was created by Irna Phillips and was performed by a various star cast including Kelly Menighan, Colleen Zenk, Don Hastings.

Tatum starred in the 1990 season of the series, Law & Order. The series deals with a crime usually adapted from current headlines from two separate vantage points. Dick Wolf created the following series.

Tatum had a remarkable performance in another short series named The Office Party in 2000. The series was based on hung over employees attempt to re-visit a wild party from the night before when one of their co-workers goes missing.

Personal Life and Affairs

Tatum, age 69, is married to a very beautiful and adorable actress, Karen Ziemba since 1984 after an affair for several of years. The couple is enjoying their married life, as there is no sign of divorce.

Karen is a Tony Award-winning actress, singer, and dancer, born on November 12, 1957, in St. Joseph, Michigan, U.S. She is the daughter of Barbara Marie and Oscar Hugo Ziemba. She is known for her remarkable appearances in several movies such as I Detective, The Producers, and Pedal foot.

Tatum currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife.

The couple first met during their rehearsal at a theater named Equity Library Theater. They got into the business together for the first time during that period. They did two plays and one musical together. They sometimes had dinner together as Bill had worked there before and knew about the best places.
